The Youth program offers the unique opportunity for every student to participate in every show, with no double casting. We do not mandate parent volunteer hours or require parents to purchase a certain number of tickets. We focus our musical theatre training by teaching the basics of singing, dancing, and acting. Our originally-written workshop shows culminate in a fun performance for the community, family, and friends.
In the Youth Workshops, there are no lead roles; everyone has lines, several dances, and songs to learn*. Students experience working with adult "Guest Artists" who serve as mentors, many of whom are former students themselves. Students experience a full "tech week" with lights, live musicians, costumes, and props, which starts the Sunday before the show. And of course - the SHOWS!
* With Disney or other productions that we do not write ourselves, not every student will have lines. Those productions put more focus on an ensemble.
Class Times: 5:00-8:00 p.m., one day a week.
Workshop Fee: $225.00 for a seven- week session.

The Saga of Sweet Hannah Sue or Nobody's Perfekt
We find the town of Savannah and it's good citizens preparing for the marriage of Jones and Hannah. The cow people are on a cow hunt and the lactose intolerant Pirates wander through. All is well until the heroes get glued to their horses. It must be Salty Sam and his six siblings. But wait! The villainous Salty Sam and Sam Jones are one and the same person! Which proves there's good in all of us. After all "nobody's perfect".
