WHAT WE'RE DOING DURING COVID-19

To our patrons,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, RTAA is taking action to follow guidelines based on the CDC and state recommendations for the safety and well-being of our staff, patrons, and students.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that we have canceled the closing weekend of Shrek, originally scheduled for this Friday and Saturday (March 20-21). We are saddened to cut short the amazing run of our talented cast. They have truly poured their heart and souls into this production, led by an incredible team.

Please be patient as we begin the process of contacting our patrons on the status of their tickets. As we are a small non-profit community theatre we would be grateful if patrons would consider donating the cost of the ticket to the theatre or trading your canceled ticket for credit to future production at RTAA. Of course, if you would like a refund we will accommodate that wish as well. Please be aware that refunds may take time to process through our ticketing system as each one must be done manually. Your patience is sincerely appreciated.

We’ve also made plans to keep our Sweet Hannah Sue Youth productions going by moving to online instruction via videos to our students. We will be continuing in this fashion through April 1st, with the hope to resume classes in person after our Spring break the week of April 14th.  Little One's classes (originally set to begin this week) will be postponed and will also start up the week of April 14th with a semi-altered schedule. At this point, we are planning to keep all performance dates the same.

The RTAA Board of Directors continues to monitor the COVID 19 situation day-by-day and reserves the right to alter this plan based on the best interests of the cast and staff and in conformity of local, State and Federal guidelines. None of us have lived through anything like this and so we are all living with uncertainty. Thank you all for your continued support of RTAA. We wish you and your family the best of health during the time of turbulence!
