It's Gala Audition time again! Auditions for Roseville Theatre Arts Academy's 6th Annual Champagne Gala are September 13th at 6:30pm. Directed and Choreographed by Christi Axelson and Musical Directed by Erin Gabriele, we're looking forward to another night of inspiring music to celebrate all that Broadway is. This year’s theme is Songs of the Silver Screen, a Toast to Movie Musicals! We will go beyond the Broadway stage and into the magic of the silver screen for a night of songs from movie musicals that have captured audiences’ hearts through unforgettable performances, spectacular storytelling, and cinematic magic.
Whether your favorite number is a classic Hollywood showstopper, a beloved anthem, or a modern movie-musical hit, it will be a night of songs that make you want to jump into the spotlight!
For your audition, you do not need to prepare a song you hope to perform in the gala. Our artistic staff will be selecting the songs and creating the evening’s lineup. Instead, choose a song from a movie musical that showcases your voice, personality, and love of the genre. Pick something that makes you excited to perform and lets us see what you can bring to the stage! We're looking for talented performers who are ready to make a beautiful night for our audience and want to include your creativity in the process if it fits with our vision.
It’s going to be a night filled with cinematic storytelling, unforgettable music, and all the movie magic you can fit on one stage. We can’t wait to see what movie-musical magic you bring to your audition!

Auditions are for ages 13 and up. Doors will open at 6:20pm. Please bring your audition form filled out (found below) and PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TRACK AND BLUETOOTH SPEAKER, as an accompanist will not be provided for you! (We are able to provide a bluetooth speaker if need be, but it is preferable if auditioners can bring their own, with their track ready on their personal device.) Be prepared to dance as well.
If you are unable to attend auditions, we will accept video submissions through September 13th BEFORE 4:00PM.
