The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and a mythology textbook's worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus's master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. Audition Info: You must be 10 years or older on audition day to be eligible for this workshop. Please prepare an audition song from a musical (not The Lightning Thief). 16 bars only, 32 if cut-time. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided for you. Please dress to dance or bring additional dancewear; you will be taught a short dance combination at the audition. You will also need to fill out and bring with you the audition form and conflict sheet.
Callbacks: If you are called back, congratulations! You made it into the workshop. The registration fee of $350 will be due upon arrival, Wednesday, May 18th at 5:00pm This payment must be made before the audition for parts begins. This is a non-refundable payment.
