This highly original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the popular fairy tale The Little Mermaid garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score. In almost non-stop song and dance, the show tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. When Daniel is returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island guide Ti Moune on a quest to test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death.

RTAA would like to thank everyone who has given their time and talent to the beautiful Roseville Theater stage by inviting you all to audition for our first adult musical "Into The Woods". This will be a labor of love for all of us who so love this iconic stage and the glorious music of Stephen Sondheim. Auditions will be held at 8:00 July 23 and 24th, 2012, callbacks July 25th, here at RTAA 241 Vernon St. Please bring 16 bars (32 if cut time) of your favorite audition piece, head shot and resume if you have one and be prepared to dance as well. Rehearsals 8 to 10 Mon. thru Thurs. beginning August 6th Performances Friday Saturday nights at 7:30 Sundays at 2:00 September 28th through October 20th, 2012.
