SUMMER CAMPS

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 15TH AT 12PM!

RTAA’s summer theatre camps are designed to bring a fun musical theatre experience to your summer, culminating in an exciting performance at the end of each camp! Students will learn theatre skills like voice, movement, improv, musical training, and much more! Each student will have a speaking role, be involved in multiple songs and dance routines, and participate in behind the scene production activities!

At the end of the camp we will perform our musical for family and friends to enjoy and celebrate all we have learned! Tickets will be available for purchase on our website for $7.

Our campers will be responsible for some minor self-costuming for the show, which may require some help from parents. Our goal is to make this as easy as possible and we always recommend just using what you have at home. It is not necessary to go out and purchase costume items unless you want to.

Ages: 7 - 15 years (students must be able to read)

Class Times: Monday - Friday 9:00am-3:00pm (performance dates/times vary)

Dates: Six one-week summer camps throughout June and July 2024

  • Session One: June 10th-14th (Performance on June 14th at 7:00pm)

  • Session Two: June 17th-21st (Performance on June 22nd at 2:00pm)

  • Session Three: June 24th-28th (Performance on June 28th at 7:00pm)

  • Session Four: July 8th-12th (Performance on July 12th at 7:00pm)

  • Session Five: July 15th-19th (Performance on July 19th at 7:00pm)

  • Session Six: July 22nd-26th (Performance on July 26th at 7:00pm)

Camp Fee: $375.00

CAMP POLICIES

Pink Slips: Occasionally, problems may arise so we have a pink slip (written warning) policy. If a student is endangering themself or others or is acting in an inappropriate manner, they may receive a pink slip. If a student receives three pink slips, they may be asked to leave the camp without a refund. 

Refund Policy: There will be a $20 service fee for all refunds BEFORE the first day of Summer Camp. If you no longer wish to participate in the camp after the first day of camp has concluded, you may receive a prorated refund as long as you notify staff by 11:59pm of the first day. No refunds will be given after the first class. NO EXCEPTIONS will be given for this policy.

Once Upon A Time is a rollicking 50’s musical comedy revolving around a school sock hop where Candy faints and wakes up in (where else?) Candyland. In order to return to reality she must complete three quests and report back to the Fairly Godmother (yes…Fairly). The spoiled princesses and inept card guards thwart Candy and her friends at every turn. One of our favorite scripts and great music. Enjoy!

Set in the iconic 30 Rock Plaza, our summer campers are taping the premiere of a brand new throwback to the 90’s sitcom, “Anything Goes Inc.” Complete with executives who speak in abbreviations, Hippies, Corporate Spies and a hard to please list of clients. Think Mad Men (but family friendly!) set in those wonderful yuppie filled 1990’s, and... with music!
